At The Ville Painting Co., we don’t treat cabinets like walls—and we don’t use wall paint on them either. Our detailed cabinet painting process with Renner 2K ensures a stunning, durable result every single time.
Step 1: Prep and ProtectionWe remove cabinet doors and hardware, label every piece, and mask off the surrounding areas. The job site is sealed and ventilated to protect your home while ensuring a clean spray zone.
Step 2: Degreasing and SandingKitchens build up years of grease and residue. We deep-clean every surface, sand them smooth, and fill imperfections before applying any coatings.
Step 3: Industrial-Grade PrimerWe use Renner’s own 2K water-based primer for superior adhesion and stain blocking. This step prevents bleeding from knots or tannins and builds the perfect base for topcoats.
Step 4: Spray Application of Renner 2K TopcoatUsing HVLP spray systems, we apply 2–3 coats of Renner 2K for a flawless finish. Between coats, surfaces are scuff-sanded to ensure proper bonding and smoothness.
Step 5: Cure, Reinstall, and Clean-UpOnce cured, the doors are reinstalled and all surfaces cleaned. You’re left with showroom-ready cabinets that look brand new.
